Interview
When did it all start?
I was always active person and as a kid I was doing a lot of different activities- sport, dancing, art, music.
But it wasn’t something which I wanted to be serious about – that just a part of the basic education and fun for me as a kid.
But when I was 12-13 years old I saw some music competition on TV – I think it was Van Clibern Piano Competition – one of the greatest event ever. – I got impressed and I told to myself that I wanna be there and I really want to become the concert pianist.
After that I started to take some lessons with piano professor and we prepared for the Musical Academy in Kiev where I continued my professional study.
What is your main motivation or inspiration?
The world itself is a motivation, the nature around me – beautiful countries which I can travel in. And the best thing about being musician that you always can improve – you always can make your music different, from another corner.
My family is my biggest inspiration and to see their eyes full of tears of proudness- worth all hard work and sacrifice.
Define yourself in less than 10 words
My only truth is Music
Tell us about your career. Your best experience? And the worst?
My best experience is to perform at Hungarian Philarmonic orchestra as a solo and duo with amazing pianist Joszef Balog – during the Summer Music Festival in Budapest.
The worst experience is hard to describe as when you are working in art industry I think it’s very personal to judge the things . For me maybe the worst part of my previous work – being working in Music school – where I needed to stay at the office for 8 hours a day without any flexibility.
Any idol or reference?
I like the violinist David Garrett – his energy and idea of bringing the top quality rock music through the classical violin . The pianist Lang lang for his unique style and really awesome projects for young generation, his charity programs and master classes all around the world.
What are your next projects?
Right now I’m working on my own album where I will be presenting my own piano covers and classical music as well.
How do you see yourself in 5 years? and in 15 years?
I definitely will be focusing on family as for me as a woman it’s the most important thing – to be not only an artist – but to become a woman in all it parts .
Meanwhile I will continue my concert career as a pianist and piano professor , but I think I will be starting more composing and creating some electronic music – as I believe that it has a future.
What will happen in 15 years – hm , let’s keep it as a surprise. I’m very excited about the life itself and I never count my years – but I count my achievements.
